Boma dinner
A Boma dinner is an outdoor dining experience, that combines traditional African food, music, and entertainment with the ambiance of the African bush. “Boma,” from Swahili, originally meant an enclosure for protecting livestock. Over time, it became a communal space where people gathered around a fire to share stories and meals. Today, the Boma symbolizes connection, storytelling, and community in African culture.
The hotel has its very own replica Boma site where the group will dine on their first evening in Zambia. The menu will focus on traditional African cuisine, including grilled meats, stews, and seasonal vegetables, served in a buffet style.
We recommend bringing layers for cooler temperatures in the evening and flat or low closed-toe shoes due to uneven ground.
The Lookout Café
Set on the edge of the Batoka Gorge, The Lookout Café offers one of the most breathtaking dining settings in Victoria Falls. Enjoy a relaxed evening overlooking the Zambezi River. With stunning views, a welcoming atmosphere, and warm Zimbabwean hospitality, The Lookout Café is the perfect place to unwind and connect at the end of the day.
The dress code is smart casual – the group will come to dinner directly after the Victoria Falls walking tour and afternoon at Elephant's Walk Shopping & Artist's Village, before returning to the hotel.
