TRAVEL
Flights
Flights have been booked from Edinburgh, Manchester, Heathrow and Dublin. Your departure airport has been pre-selected for you based on your location; upon registration you will see the specific flight number and timings. All flights include 1 item of checked luggage per person and arrive at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York.
Travel Insurance is not provided – please ensure you have arranged this prior to travelling.
Deviations from the main group are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and can be requested via your registration form. Changes or upgrades will incur additional charges and depend on availability.
If you extend your stay before or after the group dates, you will need to arrange your own transfer to/from the airport.
Please note that, as the flights are booked as part of a group booking with all attendees, only one leg of the journey may be amended, and any upgrade fees are calculated based on the group rate rather than the individual fares. Guests are unable to use air miles or loyalty points to pay for flight upgrades.
Travel documents
To enter the US, your passport must be valid for the length of your planned stay.
If you’re travelling through another country on your way to or from the US, check the entry requirements for that country. Many countries will only allow entry if you have at least 6 months validity remaining on your passport.
Visa requirements
To enter or transit through the US, you must have either an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) or a visa.
ESTA is an automated system that determines the eligibility of visitors to travel to the US under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) and costs $40.27 per person. You can apply for an ESTA via the Official ESTA Application Website or using the ESTA Mobile app on android or on iOS. An approved ESTA lasts for two years from the approval date, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.
Individuals are responsible for organising ESTAs directly.
